Everything here was written and drawn to get Hemi started – the words, the pictures, the colours, all of it. None of it is fixed. Change any of it, or all of it.

It really is easy, and you cannot break anything. When you have made it yours, delete this panel.

To log in, go to test6.ddnz.org/wp-admin. Your username is the email address you signed up with, and your password is in the email we sent you – have a look in your inbox.

Once you are in there are hundreds of free templates to choose from and thousands of plugins that add whatever you need. A little time in there and this will look properly like yours.

We have already set up the community side for you – Community Discussion and Community Self Funding. They are worth having for your community on their own, and they are also what brings people back to the site, which brings you visitors and custom you would not otherwise get.

Somewhere to come along

We run a mens shed in Whanganui with a woodworking and metalwork workshop, open three days a week. Members come along to build things, fix things for the community, and sit down for a cup of tea and a talk.

A lot of our blokes are retired or living on their own, and the shed gives them somewhere to go and people to talk to. You do not need any experience with tools, just come along and see how it works.

Open three days a week

Our workshop runs three days a week, so there is a regular time to come down and get amongst it.

Woodwork and metalwork

We have a proper workshop set up for woodworking and metalwork, used for building and repairing things, including jobs for the community.

A cuppa and a talk

As much as the workshop, the shed is about the company. There is always a cup of tea on and someone to talk to.
